A simpler way to use crypto

Outruna brings everyday wallet actions into a focused mobile interface designed for Telegram WebApp users and the web. Sign in with the Telegram account or email account you already use, then access an embedded EVM wallet without installing a browser extension or writing down a recovery phrase during standard onboarding. This keeps the first experience familiar for people who want to manage supported assets without learning a complex wallet interface.

The wallet uses one EVM address across supported networks. You can deposit with a QR code, copy your address, send assets, review balances, and inspect transaction details from the same compact application. The supported networks are Ethereum, Base, Polygon, Optimism, Avalanche, and Arbitrum. Token availability is intentionally curated and focuses mainly on native assets and major stablecoins.

Built-in wallet tools

Outruna includes the core actions needed for a focused crypto wallet. Deposit flows show the address and QR code clearly. Withdrawals support native assets and supported ERC-20 tokens, with destination screening and Rabby transaction risk checks before signing where those services are available. The final draft can receive a pass, warning, danger, or forbidden result; warnings require acknowledgement and forbidden transactions are blocked. Custom tokens can be added after reviewing their contract details, while suspicious-token warnings help users pause before adding an unfamiliar asset.

Supported token swaps are available through integrated liquidity providers. Quotes show the expected output, minimum received amount, route information, and Outruna's integrator fee before confirmation. Provider responses marked as simulation failures are rejected before execution. Network gas, approvals, slippage, price impact, and provider charges remain separate costs. A hosted Gas Account may help eligible transactions when the wallet does not have enough native gas, but availability depends on eligibility, balance, and service status.

Focused security model

Outruna is open source at github.com/solvetony/outruna. It does not expose a general-purpose connection to arbitrary Web3 sites or inject a wallet into every browser page. That narrower design reduces a common phishing and malicious-signing path, although it cannot remove all crypto risks. Users should verify the network, token contract, recipient, amount, and final transaction before signing because blockchain transactions are generally irreversible.

Protect the account that unlocks the wallet. Telegram users should enable Telegram two-step verification and an app passcode. Email users should open their email provider's security settings and enable the provider's own two-factor authentication, use a unique password, and never share login codes or recovery access. Outruna does not ask users to manage a private key or mnemonic during standard onboarding, but access to the Telegram or email account remains essential.

Outruna uses Privy embedded-wallet infrastructure rather than keeping a complete private key in the frontend. Privy describes embedded wallets as user-owned/self-custodial: key material is split into encrypted shares across separate security boundaries and reconstructed only temporarily when an authorized signing operation requires it. Depending on the configured execution environment, sensitive operations are handled in a trusted execution environment or on the user's device. This means users can use a wallet without storing a private key or mnemonic during standard onboarding, while account access and Privy infrastructure still need to be protected.

For an additional transaction safeguard, users can optionally enable 2FA in Settings. Privy multi-factor authentication supports TOTP with Google Authenticator and compatible authenticator apps. In Outruna, MFA protects transaction signing and is also used when Privy requires the embedded-wallet key for other sensitive wallet actions. Protection remains disabled until the user completes enrollment and uses the configured authenticator when prompted.

Why another wallet in Telegram?

Telegram users have a small set of familiar crypto choices, including Wallet in Telegram (@wallet) and @CryptoBot. Outruna takes a different approach: a focused embedded EVM wallet for Ethereum, Base, Polygon, Optimism, Avalanche, and Arbitrum, accessed with Telegram or email and designed around send, receive, swap, and review workflows.

Wallet in Telegram combines two different experiences. Its Crypto Wallet is custodial, while its DeFi Account is self-custodial and focused on TON-based Web3 use cases. @CryptoBot is a centralized custodial service. These models can be convenient, but a provider may apply withdrawal holds, account restrictions, regional availability rules, or additional KYC and compliance checks. Users should review current provider terms and should not treat custodial balances as equivalent to assets held in a wallet they control directly.

Outruna provides a user-owned/self-custodial embedded EVM wallet through Privy, not a custodial balance controlled by Outruna. Its distinction is focus: multi-chain EVM support, no general dapp connection, optional transaction 2FA, wallet risk checks, and no requirement to store a seed phrase during standard onboarding. This can reduce dapp-signing exposure, but it does not eliminate account, Privy infrastructure, smart-contract, or blockchain risks.

Open-source status differs across these products. Outruna is published under the MIT License, and major source repositories are available for wallets such as Rabby, MetaMask, and Trezor. Ledger hardware firmware is not fully open source, while Wallet in Telegram and @CryptoBot are not publicly presented as fully open-source wallet products. Public source availability supports review but is not a security guarantee by itself.

Limited fiat payout support

The Russian-language interface includes a limited operator-assisted stablecoin-to-fiat payout flow. It is not an automated exchange or public order book. Availability is restricted to supported stablecoins, networks, and amount limits. Users should review the payout details, send only the requested asset on the requested network, and wait for operator verification.

Outruna is designed for people who value straightforward wallet actions, a mobile-first experience, and a smaller dapp attack surface. It does not replace a hardware wallet for users who require device-isolated signing, and it does not support every chain, token, dapp, NFT, or wallet connection standard.
